The SMS Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) program, tailored for MPH holders, offers specialized education in applying social and behavioral science theories and research methodologies to pressing public health issues. Our student profiles and published works showcase the diverse range of academic pursuits. Alumni pursue careers in research, education, policy advocacy, or public health initiatives, utilizing their expertise in social and behavioral science applications. The curriculum integrates interdisciplinary social science theories and methods to address public health challenges. While primary faculty guidance comes from Sociomedical Sciences (SMS), DrPH candidates frequently collaborate with professors across various Mailman School departments.
Applicant must have bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States or its equivalent from another country.
English Language Requirement
Applicant must have minimum TOEFL internet based test score of 100 (or 600 paper based) and IELTS band score of 7.5
