Qualification Requirements
The minimum GPA for admission to Colorado State University Graduate School is 3.0. For applicants who do not meet the 3.000 cumulative GPA requirement, there is an alternative admission pathway. Applicants can gain formal admission if they have 1) a cumulative GPA between 2.800 and 3.000, or 2) have a cumulative GPA below 2.800 and have taken six credits of regular, graduatelevel coursework (500 level or higher) at CSU and obtain a B or better in all courses.
One transcript from EACH university attended (if previous course work has been completed at Colorado State University-Fort Collins, transcripts are not required.) Please see additional information about transcripts below.

Contact your department to find out if unofficial transcripts are accepted. If your department accepts unofficial transcripts, you may be admitted and registered in your first semester of courses with an unofficial transcript. Official transcripts must be submitted, prior to or during your first semester, before you can register for your second semester of graduate work. Failure to meet this condition will result in your dismissal from the Graduate School.
