Earn a Master of Science in Recreation Management and Policy with a specialization in adaptive sports to unlock diverse career paths in administration, program development, fundraising, grant writing, and research within this field. This specialization readies graduates for mid-to-senior level management roles across multiple adaptive sports settings, including municipal recreation departments, rehabilitation centers, VA healthcare facilities, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, community-based programs, elite adaptive sports bodies, and commercial recreation providers.
International applicants must hold a four-year baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as a precondition for applying to any of our graduate programs. In some cases, you may also need a master’s degree or its equivalent.

Minimum score requirements are as follows: TOEFL (Computer-based): 213; TOEFL (Internet-based): 80; IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6.5; TOEFL ITP (Institution Administered): On case-by-case basis; TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication): On case-by-case basis; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 59.
Applications must be completed by the following deadlines in order to be reviewed for admission: Fall: Feb. 1 (for funding and GA application); March 15 (final); Spring: Nov. 1.
