The Department of Clinical Sciences provides Master of Science research programs across various fields within the department, such as cancer biology, epidemiology, musculoskeletal studies, pharmacology, heart health, microbiology, and immune system research. Applicants don't need a veterinary medicine degree to join. The department offers two primary pathways for MS students. Pathway 1 (Clinical MS program): This route mainly serves veterinary graduates who are simultaneously completing residency programs, with most candidates opting for a non-thesis master's option. Pathway 2 (Research MS program): Participants in this program may or may not hold a veterinary degree, with the majority pursuing a thesis-based master's degree. These students usually receive support while working in faculty-led research labs. Interested applicants should reach out to laboratory supervisors to inquire about potential openings for MS training opportunities.
