Our research explores how solar and Earth's radiation interact with atmospheric components like clouds, water vapor, aerosols, and precipitation. Key investigations involve refining retrieval methodologies, radar weather studies, multi-sensor integration, and employing high-resolution cloud models to obtain physically coherent representations of clouds and rainfall. We also apply modeling and observational data to better understand global water and energy cycles, while contributing to the design of innovative spaceborne instruments targeting unresolved climate science challenges.
