The Environmental Engineering Bachelor of Science program at Colorado School of Mines teaches students the core principles of environmental engineering, covering both the scientific foundations and regulatory frameworks for public health and environmental conservation. Graduates gain the skills to examine and evaluate environmental systems, identify threats to public health and ecosystems, and develop both natural and engineered strategies to reduce risks and achieve positive results.
Within three years of earning their Environmental Engineering Bachelor of Science degree, graduates will be employed in the field or pursuing advanced degrees in Environmental Engineering or related disciplines, progressing in their professional development, creating new knowledge and/or assuming leadership roles in their industry, and addressing societal needs through professional work, research, and/or community engagement.
