The Environmental Engineering Bachelor of Science program in the College of Engineering equips students with the expertise to develop technologies and systems that reduce, prevent, and remediate environmental harm to air, soil, and water resources. Environmental engineers operate at the critical intersection of human requirements and ecological sustainability. Temple's curriculum trains you to gather and interpret field data for environmental monitoring, develop solutions to minimize ecological impacts, and create resource recovery systems. Through intimate class settings, you'll master environmental hydrology fundamentals, air pollution management, and the design of stormwater, wastewater, and water purification infrastructure. You'll also utilize advanced laboratory facilities with undergraduate research opportunities. Upon completing your environmental engineering degree, you'll be prepared to work as a designer, project coordinator, or research specialist, while advancing toward graduate education and professional certification.
