The Civil Engineering Bachelor of Science program at Colorado School of Mines equips undergraduates to create, build, and sustain our constructed world. This encompasses essential infrastructure like buildings, highways, bridges, tunnels, water storage systems, treatment plants, and other vital structures that support a prosperous community.
Following foundational studies in mathematics, core sciences, engineering fundamentals, and design methodologies, students explore the complete spectrum of civil engineering specialties. They then focus their studies through elective courses in areas such as construction engineering, water resources and hydrology, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering and geology, structural engineering, and more. The program encourages students to integrate a specific interest area or a minor to expand their career opportunities further.
