Our Master's program focuses on research, equipping students for doctoral studies across psychology disciplines. During two years of full-time study, participants must finish at least 37 credit hours, complete a first-year research initiative, and produce a Master's thesis in their second year.
The curriculum emphasizes three key elements: academic courses, research activities, and career preparation.
Master's candidates enroll in year-long statistics training, a graduate-level research methods class, and professional development coursework spanning two semesters. Additionally, students select four or more optional classes.
The majority of academic credits involve research-focused work, including two significant projects: an initial research endeavor and a Master's thesis, along with methodology training and professional seminars. Students begin research activities in their first semester, with diverse opportunities available through our faculty's wide-ranging expertise.
