Our Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Professional Counseling Psychology equips aspiring therapists, counselors, and consultants with research-based knowledge for independent, licensed practice in counseling, psychotherapy, and program assessment. The curriculum provides a strong psychological foundation while allowing students to focus on specific clinical issues and varied populations, supported by faculty mentorship and hands-on clinical supervision.
This program delivers comprehensive education for advanced psychology studies, qualifying graduates to pursue licensure as Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) in Florida. Trainees learn to apply behavioral science theories, methodologies, techniques, and evidence-based interventions to address psychological concerns, promote mental wellness, and support human growth.
