The CACREP-accredited M.Ed. in Counseling with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Military/Veterans Counseling equips students with specialized coursework and hands-on training to meet the distinct mental health requirements of active-duty service members and veterans.
Throughout both academic and practical training, the program emphasizes culturally sensitive approaches and social justice principles in counseling. Students monitor their development in mastering key social justice skills as they advance through the program. Whether coming from military backgrounds or not, graduates of the Military and Veterans Counseling specialization will be thoroughly prepared to provide effective therapeutic support to military personnel, veterans, and their families.

You must have an undergraduate (bachelor's) degree to apply to a master's degree program, and you must have a master's or educational specialist degree to apply to a doctoral program.
