A hands-on, vital program designed to equip students for careers in professional social work. This field focuses on systematic approaches to delivering essential services to at-risk populations, leading to licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Ohio. Social workers serve in numerous organizations, assisting clients with diverse challenges such as mental health issues, addiction, elder care, economic hardship, youth justice systems, educational settings, military veterans, and beyond. As licensed professionals, they fulfill countless vital functions in our communities. These roles encompass specialists in child/family/school services, healthcare social work, addiction and mental health support, military assistance, community outreach, as well as positions in administration, research, planning, and policy development within the social work field.
If you have successfully completed your high school degree (12 years of primary and secondary education), you are considered an undergraduate student at CSU.
Meet minimum test score requirements:
TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based): 78 and at least 17 in each section
TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based): 550
IELTS: 6.0 and at least 5.0 in each section
PTE (Pearsons Test of English): 50
iTEP: 3.8
ACT English Score: 20
SAT Critical Reading Score: 470
