Recognized by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), the Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) serves as the professional credential mandated by most state licensing bodies for architectural practice.
Clemson's M.Arch. program cultivates students' ability to address modern architectural, societal, and worldwide challenges through a blend of theoretical understanding and hands-on skills.
The M.Arch. II is a 60-credit, two-year program designed for candidates holding a pre-professional architecture bachelor's degree (BA or BS) along with robust portfolios showcasing 6-8 semesters of design studio experience. This advanced placement track requires at minimum a pre-professional architecture degree, plus a competitive portfolio. The Admissions Committee evaluates each applicant's qualifications during the review process to determine advanced placement eligibility.
