A wildlife and fisheries biology graduate program equips students with specialized scientific knowledge for managing animal populations, their ecosystems, and broader environmental systems. This curriculum develops both conceptual understanding and practical abilities for conservation leadership. Alumni pursue professional paths in ecological consulting, global preservation initiatives, government natural resource departments, and nature-based education. Starting Fall 2023, the MWFR program will include a specialized track in GIS technology for environmental management.
The Master of Wildlife and Fisheries Resources degree is available through both digital and in-person instruction formats. All other departmental degrees are exclusively offered through conventional campus-based learning.
