The industrial and organizational psychology doctoral program equips students with essential theoretical knowledge, quantitative research skills, and practical abilities to solve workplace-related human challenges. Alumni pursue careers in consulting, corporate, government, and academic sectors.
Our Ph.D. curriculum follows the scientist-practitioner framework, adhering to the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) doctoral program standards. We emphasize equal focus on both industrial and organizational aspects while balancing academic research with practical implementation.
This doctoral program aligns with SIOP's educational requirements. Candidates typically earn a master's degree en route to their Ph.D., fulfilling all master's program criteria before doctoral completion. Beyond core coursework, the program mandates at least one class from psychology's four fundamental domains: biological, cognitive-affective, social, and individual differences.
