The Bachelor of Science curriculum incorporates extra foundational and higher-level classes in mathematics and science, whereas the Bachelor of Arts program requires a four-semester modern language sequence. Students choose from three specialization tracks: community studies, general sociology, or social services.
As a sociology student, you'll explore subjects including socioeconomic stratification, racial and ethnic relations, gender studies, the justice system, family structures, cultural dynamics, religious influences, educational systems, and societies in transition. Organizations frequently hire sociology graduates for roles involving human interaction across administration, leadership, personnel management, community relations, human services, and data analysis. Our accelerated degree pathway enables eligible sociology undergraduates to simultaneously pursue graduate-level coursework in social sciences while completing their bachelor's program.
