Student progression through performance levels (164-464) is assessed via jury examinations. After completing this program successfully, students will achieve the following competencies:
MUS1 (Music Theory) apply theoretical knowledge and aural skills to analyze and interpret a diverse range of musical compositions.
MUS2 (Music History, Culture, and Literature) understand historical and contemporary musical styles, genres, and artists across Western and non-Western traditions, along with research capabilities to expand this understanding.
MUS3 (Individual Applied Music) prepare, interpret, and perform varied musical pieces on their principal instrument or voice, meeting their major's requirements.
MUS4 (Collaborative Applied Music) collaborate in musical ensembles to prepare, interpret, and perform diverse works, fulfilling their major's expectations.
MUS5 (Specialized Music Study) demonstrate expertise relevant to their major, such as advanced performance techniques, teaching methods, composition/improvisation abilities, or qualifications for teacher certification.
MUS6 (Musical Engagement) actively contribute to the university and regional music community through performances, teaching, creative projects, or service activities.
