Working alongside accomplished faculty, students refine professional abilities and teaching strategies for K-12 music education. CMU graduates teach in schools across Michigan and nationwide, at universities, and in community arts programs. Many also enter related fields like arts administration, music publishing, and retail. Central Michigan University's modern 119,000-square-foot music facility features cutting-edge resources including a 500-seat concert hall with Casavant organ, recital hall, digital labs, recording studios, and a music resource center.
