This two-year Master of Architecture is a 60-credit professional degree designed for students holding a four-year pre-professional architecture undergraduate degree.
Within the School of Architecture and Planning, both undergraduate and graduate students flourish in our design-intensive program, deeply connected to the Catholic Church - the world's foremost preserver of classical architecture. Featuring the nation's sole Sacred and Cultural Studies program, we enable students to explore architecture's relationship with nature, culture, and spirituality.
Our School belongs to a select few institutions offering the IPAL program (Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure), which lets students earn their architectural license upon graduation. IPAL merges practical internships with staggered examinations, compressing the typical 12-year licensure process down to just seven years.
The two-year Master of Architecture program is a 60-credit-hour professional degree program for students with a four-year undergraduate pre-professional degree in architecture.
Students enrolled in the Master of Architecture program pursue a concentration in one of the following four areas: Sacred Space/Cultural Studies, Technology and Media in Architecture and Interiors, Urban Practice, and Classical Architecture and Urbanism.
