The Literature and Writing Studies Program offers courses in both literary analysis and composition. Students following previous catalog requirements can reach out to the Department Chair or Academic Advisor to learn about equivalent courses. Completing the LTWR 300A and LTWR 300B sequence is mandatory, with students encouraged to take these courses during their first year of upper-division studies. Junior-level students (or those with instructor approval) may enroll in 300- and 400-level courses in any sequence, though higher-numbered courses might require more foundational knowledge. Graduate-level 500 courses are also open to qualified undergraduate students.
