The School Psychology Program at California State University, San Bernardino offers specialized training for the Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) in School Psychology. This comprehensive program meets all requirements set by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) for the PPS credential and aligns with the accreditation standards of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
CSUSB's Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in School Psychology combined with the PPS credential requires completion of a 63-unit course sequence. This program is ideal for candidates with experience in psychology, education, child development, or related social service fields. We also provide a standalone PPS program tailored for professionals holding (or nearing completion of) graduate degrees in Educational Counseling, Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, or related disciplines.
