Our Stem Cell Program offers students the opportunity to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Biotechnology from California State University, Sacramento. This specialized MS Biotechnology/Stem Cell Program is designed to deliver rigorous academic training and innovative research opportunities, equipping graduates with the skills needed to excel in the stem cell industry.
This collaborative graduate program works closely with UC Davis's Stem Cell Program. Participants complete three semesters of advanced coursework at Sacramento State followed by an intensive 8-month research period at UC Davis. Beyond their research commitments, students also enroll in specialized courses at UC Davis covering stem cell lab methodologies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

Students with a baccalaureate degree in biology (or closely related field) with 24 units of upper division biological science courses with a grade of C- or better. Students must have earned a minimum GPA of
