The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry program equips students for various career paths, including: (1) advanced chemistry studies, (2) positions in industrial or government research facilities, or (3) roles in technical sales, hazardous materials management, chemical documentation, or patent law. This chemistry B.S. program maintains accreditation from the American Chemical Society (ACS), fulfilling all necessary standards. Our Chemistry and Biochemistry Department delivers challenging undergraduate and master's programs that ready students for professional achievements in healthcare, industry, and academia. Students can pursue ACS-accredited B.S. degrees in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or opt for a B.A. in Chemistry. Additionally, students from other disciplines may complement their major with a Chemistry minor. The department provides research-intensive M.S. programs in both Chemistry and Biochemistry. Many graduate students and numerous undergraduates collaborate with faculty on research projects, frequently leading to joint publications and opportunities to present at conferences ranging from local to international levels.
