The Bachelor of Music with a Percussion specialization (audition required for admission) prepares students for careers as professional performers or collegiate instructors (after completing relevant graduate studies). Culminating requirement: a full-length recital. While primarily centered on classical music, the program often incorporates training in other styles (jazz vibraphone, world percussion, etc.). Those aiming for careers in jazz or popular music should consider auditioning for the Jazz Studies program instead.
