Nutrition plays a powerful role in shaping both immediate reactions and long-term changes related to physical activity and training. The Master's Program in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition explores the dynamic relationship between dietary science and exercise physiology. Students will gain expertise in addressing nutritional requirements for various exercise regimens, training programs, and conditioning protocols to improve overall health, bodily functions, and athletic capabilities, while also examining the fundamental biological processes from cellular to systemic levels. The Physiology of Exercise and Sport (PEXS) Laboratory, led by current researchers in the discipline, features specialized equipment for genetic studies, biochemical assessments, comprehensive metabolic analysis, and sports performance evaluation. This degree program readies students to serve diverse populations across multiple environments through evidence-based coursework, hands-on training, and independent research projects. Additionally, the Master's Program in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition provides a strong foundation for pursuing further academic studies, including PhD programs, as well as clinical and medical education.
