The Master of Arts (MA) program includes a specialization in music education. Admission requires applicants to submit a 30-minute classroom teaching demonstration video, a professional resume, and a written response to a provided prompt. Graduates of the MA in Music program will: possess expert understanding of music history, theory, and literature; demonstrate advanced musical practice through performance, composition, and analysis; exhibit professional research and presentation skills; show leadership in academic and performance collaborations; and apply international perspectives and contemporary approaches to musical performance, education, and career advancement.
