The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (General) equips students with diverse engineering skills and knowledge, enabling them to excel and advance in their chosen engineering careers. The curriculum is designed to immerse students in collaborative experiences with faculty and peers across various engineering fields, preparing them to analyze and integrate complex interdisciplinary systems essential in today's world. It delivers a contemporary education that seamlessly transitions to industry applications post-graduation. At CSUF, the Engineering program embodies excellence in teaching, research, and hands-on practice, dedicated to preparing undergraduate and graduate students for successful entry and impactful contributions to the engineering field. Students actively participate and partner with faculty and staff to gain and enhance their expertise.
First-year students must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Complete the 15-unit comprehensive “A-G” pattern with a grade of C- or better by high school graduation.
"A-G" requirement may not be completed during the summer term prior to fall enrolment.
Earn a competitive Multi Factor Admission Score (MFAS)
