The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management program equips students with essential skills for managing and leading engineering-focused organizations effectively.
The coursework offers a broad foundation in engineering science and design, combined with specialized expertise in a particular field for professional application. This technical foundation is enhanced by insights into business operations, organizational dynamics, and management competencies, preparing graduates to excel in overseeing scientific or engineering ventures. Subjects addressed encompass project and resource coordination, financial engineering, risk assessment, configuration control, service strategies, product liability, entrepreneurship, and operations management, alongside product design and process enhancement.
You’re considered a first-year student if you graduated from a regionally accredited high school or earned your GED, and you never attended college or have fewer than 12 transferable college credit hours.
First-year students must have a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) (a "B" or better where "A"=4.00) from a secondary school.
English proficiency
TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) - the minimum score is 61 (iBT)
TOEFL pBT (paper-based test) - minimum score is 57
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - The overall band score requirement for the academic test is at least 6.0.
Pearson Test of English (PTE) - ASU requires a score of at least 53.
Duolingo English test - minimum score of 95.
