The MSME Program draws three distinct groups of students: i) Advanced BSME students enrolled in the accelerated 150-unit blended Master's program, ii) Industry professionals with BSME degrees pursuing part-time graduate studies, and iii) International students beginning their first US graduate program. This program delivers a graduate-level education focused on fundamental principles with practical applications, leading to a Master of Science in Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering specialization (MSE-ME).
Our mission is to prepare engineers who will responsibly shape a sustainable future and improve life quality throughout the 21st century. The MSE-ME curriculum offers advanced mechanical engineering education to both campus-based students and working professionals in the Fresno region's industrial and government sectors. Program graduates gain the expertise to tackle complex engineering challenges driven by technological progress while advancing their careers. Furthermore, the program aims to equip graduates with research and applied engineering skills to meet the technical demands of our region and broader communities.
