Program requires 33 credit hours minimum.
12 mandatory credits in engineering mechanics: EGM 500, 503, 533, and 546.
9 elective credits in engineering mechanics.
6 essential mathematics credits: MTH 535 and 551.
6 research credits for an approved thesis or project. With advisor and program director approval, thesis/project work may be substituted with 9 additional course credits.
