Gain the skills to work across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, business management, and scientific/technical services. Industrial engineers also pioneer emerging fields like nanomanufacturing, additive manufacturing (3D printing), and biomedical production. Our department provides a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (MSE) program and a combined B.S.E./M.S.E. track, each offering both thesis and non-thesis pathways.
The master's program mandates at least thirty credit hours of graduate coursework, comprising nine research credits for the thesis track or nine credits in an approved minor outside the department for the non-thesis alternative.
