The Bachelor of Science in Microbiology provides two pathways: general microbiology and clinical laboratory science. The general microbiology track equips students for opportunities in biotechnology, environmental or industrial microbiology, pharmaceutical and biomedical research, or advanced academic pursuits. Meanwhile, the clinical laboratory science pathway readies students for internships leading to careers as clinical laboratory scientists or public health microbiologists.
