While English is often linked solely to literature studies, at California State University, Chico, our definition extends far beyond. In addition to literature, our curriculum encompasses creative writing, linguistics, literacy studies, rhetoric, and publishing arts. The department provides multiple programs featuring three BA concentrations, an MA degree, four minor options, and three certification paths, all customizable to individual aspirations.
