The Associate in Arts in Spanish for Transfer (AA-T) at Skyline College prepares students to transfer to a California State University (CSU) with a Spanish major or related field, or to pursue career opportunities. This Spanish Transfer (AA-T) program ensures a smooth transition to bachelor's degree programs in Spanish across the CSU system, offering foundational knowledge in the discipline. It enhances abilities in analytical reading, composition, critical thinking, and research by exploring language, literature, cultural studies, and related subjects. Graduates will emerge as skilled and self-assured communicators, fully prepared for CSU transfer.

While AA-T degree holders gain guaranteed admission to the CSU system, specific campuses or majors aren't assured. Those admitted to a CSU accepting the AA-T will need to complete a maximum of 60 additional units for their bachelor's degree. This pathway may not suit students targeting a specific CSU campus, private university, or non-CSU institution.
