The Criminal Justice Bachelor of Arts program aims to develop students into analytical thinkers, skilled speakers, and proficient writers on topics related to crime and justice. This includes: (1) examining crime's characteristics, prevalence, and causes, (2) applying research methodologies and statistical analysis to understand criminal behavior and evaluate justice policies, (3) exploring how criminal law governs behavior and maintains social order, (4) studying the principles, operations, and reforms of U.S. law enforcement across all government levels, and (5) analyzing punishment philosophies along with the structure, functioning, and improvements of correctional systems nationwide.
