Typically, students are not accepted into graduate programs for an M.S. degree. However, in exceptional cases and with advance approval from the Graduate Study Committee, a master's degree may be pursued.
Learning Objectives. Chemistry Master's Degree recipients will acquire specialized expertise in contemporary chemistry through advanced graduate courses, along with exposure to chemical research by working on a faculty-supervised project. These achievements are evidenced by successful course completion and the presentation of an acceptable Master's Thesis.

Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree or the equivalent before beginning graduate study.Transcripts from each college or university attended, three letters of recommendation, a CV, and the applicant's statement of purpose are required components of the application and are carefully and equally weighed during the evaluation process.
