The department provides a master's program with both thesis and non-thesis tracks. Students can specialize in analytical, organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry, along with interdisciplinary fields like chemical biology and nanoscience. The thesis-based M.S. in chemistry combines rigorous coursework with hands-on research, culminating in a publishable thesis, equipping graduates with specialized expertise that boosts career potential and creates new professional pathways.
The non-thesis M.S. option focuses on intensive coursework, making it ideal for working professionals in industry, education, government, or military sectors seeking career growth without a research component.
