CBU's exercise science alumni pursue diverse career paths, including clinical exercise physiology and advanced studies in physical therapy, athletic training, occupational therapy, and related health fields. While classroom instruction forms the foundation, numerous courses emphasize hands-on application of concepts through laboratory work, clinical settings, and community engagement. Our faculty actively conduct research and consistently involve undergraduate students in these projects. The department boasts cutting-edge facilities for assessing oxygen consumption, cardiovascular performance, muscular activity, immune responses, and environmental stressors. Our exercise physiology lab features an oversized treadmill capable of accommodating six simultaneous runners.
