Our cutting-edge curriculum is carefully crafted to equip students with all the essential skills, knowledge, mindsets, and capabilities required to excel as physicians and researchers, while providing constructive guidance throughout their journey. We strive to develop medical professionals who deliver knowledgeable, empathetic care while also emerging as innovators and reformers within healthcare systems. To accomplish this vision, we focus on cultivating leadership qualities at every stage. In the first two years, students participate in four consecutive semesters of Integrated Medical Sciences and Doctoring. The optional Scholarly Concentrations Program is introduced in Year 1. Before starting Year 3, students undertake a Clinical Skills Clerkship to prepare for hands-on clinical work. The third year enables students to investigate fundamental disciplines and associated specialties through mandatory rotations in surgery, internal medicine, clinical neurosciences (including neurology and psychiatry), pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, and family medicine. The shift from third to fourth year occurs in May, followed by sub-internships and tailored elective rotations designed to solidify career decisions and prepare for residency placements. Additionally, all students complete a mandatory Internship Preparatory Course.
