Public Health is a multidisciplinary field where students analyze diverse health topics such as community wellness, disease patterns, healthcare policies, and global health perspectives. The program explores how healthcare systems operate within social and organizational frameworks. Through coursework, students investigate how behavioral, biological, political, and social factors influence health outcomes across populations. The curriculum includes foundational training in research methodologies and statistical analysis, equipping students with essential skills for data-driven decision-making in modern evidence-based healthcare and public health practices.
Students should complete secondary school. Brown first-year students will have completed 12 to 13 years of primary and secondary schooling.
A TOEFL score of 100 or above on the internet-based exam, or 600 or above on the paper-based exam, or a score of 8.0 or above on the IELTS, is expected in most cases.
