The Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services (HHS) equips students to recognize and address the needs of at-risk populations, including individuals, families, and communities. Through evidence-based methodologies, graduates will gain the skills to design, implement, and assess programs that enhance wellbeing and help people navigate significant personal and societal obstacles. The HHS degree offers three demanding yet interconnected specializations: (1) Public Health, (2) Human Services, and (3) Pre-Health Professions.
All concentration areas provide students with a foundation in multidisciplinary, ethical, and cutting-edge methods for delivering public health initiatives, human services, and healthcare. Combining academic excellence, pioneering research, and hands-on learning, this program strongly emphasizes community involvement and service-based education. Students have opportunities to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings through supervised internships with nonprofits, social service providers, government agencies, healthcare facilities, and other organizations locally and nationally.
