Brigham Young University's Master of Fine Arts in art is a comprehensive 60-credit program that fosters creative risk-taking and the investigation of concepts, materials, and artistic fields while refining students' abilities and contributing to professional dialogues. Completed an undergraduate degree in art, or its equivalent, with a minimum of 20 hours in upper division studio course work and at least 12 hours of Art History,
achieved a 3.0 GPA during the last two years of undergraduate study,
IELTS - Overall minimum band score of 7.0 (consisting of minimum band scores of 6.0 in each module)
TOEFL (paper based test) - 580
TOEFL iBT (internet based test) - Minimum subscores of 22 (Speaking) and 21 (Listening, Reading, & Writing respectively) comprising an overall score at least 85.
Graduate with at least a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate grade point average or 'B' average.
Receive at least a 3.0 grade-point average in the cumulative undergraduate GPA from a regionally accredited university in the United States, or a comprehensive grade-point average of 3.0 from an equivalent university outside the United States.
