Take the skills from your English core studies and apply them to your creative projects, be it poetry, fiction, or essays. Discover how to visualize thoughts, construct arguments through metaphor, and craft memorable characters. As Virginia Woolf observed, events only become real when they're written down. That responsibility now falls to you as a creative writer. During workshops, you'll analyze and provide feedback on both published pieces and works-in-progress from fellow emerging writers. Additionally, you'll take a literature course focusing on poetry, nonfiction, short stories, or novels, all designed to help you produce more refined literary works.
