Our Mathematics department provides Master of Arts and Master of Science degree programs designed for students with a solid foundation in undergraduate mathematics. The Master of Arts can typically be completed in one year, while the Master of Science is a two-year program.
These graduate programs serve as excellent preparation for students aiming to enter competitive PhD programs. Both degrees include an extensive selection of graduate-level courses, with the Master of Science incorporating additional advanced coursework and a research requirement.
While neither program includes mandatory teaching assistantships, financial assistance options may be accessible.
Additionally, we provide a combined BA/MA mathematics degree and a post-baccalaureate program for individuals holding bachelor's degrees in any discipline who wish to enhance their mathematical expertise for professional applications or in preparation for graduate studies in mathematics or related scientific fields.
