Bradley's high school biology education program equips you for the Illinois Professional Educator's License in Secondary Education. Starting in your freshman year, you'll engage in classroom field experiences, with progressively more advanced opportunities during sophomore and junior years. These hands-on experiences culminate in a senior year student teaching placement. Throughout your journey, you'll receive guidance from Bradley faculty and experienced supervising teachers. The biology department provides comprehensive training in biological sciences and related fields.
Our teacher education program holds accreditation from both the Illinois State Board of Education and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, along with membership in the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.
