The biomedical science program prepares you for health-related careers by focusing on how biological systems influence wellness. This degree serves as an excellent foundation for those pursuing healthcare careers or medical school admission. You'll study diverse biological subjects while taking advanced courses centered on human health. Research methodologies are introduced during your first year, with opportunities to expand this knowledge through laboratory work, independent studies, and summer research projects. Up to three research credit hours can be applied toward your degree requirements. The curriculum also incorporates chemistry, sociology, and psychology concepts relevant to your professional goals.
