The Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering is an interdisciplinary engineering degree that adopts a comprehensive perspective on designing and enhancing complex systems across sectors like manufacturing, logistics, retail services, and healthcare, differing from conventional engineering programs. To complete this program, students must earn at least 122 credit hours, which include 36 hours of BG Perspective (BGP) or GEC courses, 48 hours of core program courses, a 1-credit co-op or internship, 6 hours of business and management classes, 41-46 hours of additional required courses meeting ABET math and science standards, and 8-10 hours of electives. The program concludes with a three-credit senior capstone project.
Students should have official transcripts from secondary school and from any post-secondary school attended.
