The MSD program admits only a select number of applicants. To qualify, candidates must hold a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery or an equivalent international qualification.

This minimum one-year program excludes clinical practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Instead, participants must undertake significant research in oral and maxillofacial surgery or oral biology, typically collaborating with university research faculty. The objective is to cultivate students' capacity to concentrate, evaluate, and structure intricate data to meaningfully contribute to academic literature.
