The CAGS in Endodontics program aligns with the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation's educational criteria, equipping students to achieve board certification from the American Board of Endodontics. The curriculum provides in-depth instruction in clinical endodontics alongside foundational medical sciences and related dental disciplines. Students gain hands-on experience through supervised clinical rotations covering both surgical and nonsurgical endodontic procedures. The program also offers comprehensive training in managing endodontic-periodontic cases and teeth involved in complex oral rehabilitation.
Participants must fulfill academic requirements that provide historical context of endodontic principles while developing evidence-based evaluation skills for emerging technologies and materials.
Research participation is mandatory, with each student producing a publication-ready research document.
