The Master of Arts program is available in French, Italian, and Hispanic Studies, designed to equip students for doctoral studies, teaching Romance languages, or pursuing careers in education, business, publishing, and other professional fields.

The graduate program provides comprehensive studies in French, Francophone, Iberian, Latin American, and Italian literatures. It combines foundational survey courses with specialized seminars focused on authors, themes, genres, or theoretical frameworks. Recognizing the diverse methodologies in literary studies, RLL's graduate programs enable students to examine literary, linguistic, and cultural aspects of Romance languages through both traditional and modern lenses, including film and media studies. A strong emphasis is placed on critical theory and historical context, with students encouraged to enroll in dedicated theory courses and classes covering the philology and history of Romance languages. Most courses are conducted in the respective target language.
